Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on March 10, 1958, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to the accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker also a former worker at a factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone, who was gifted in school as young children, began her second grade education at the age of five.
