Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 until January 19 January 19, 2008) was an American film, theatre TV, and voice actress. 1. Pleshette began her career in the theatre and started appearing in films in the late 1950s. She later was featured in films of note like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). Later, she appeared in a variety of television productions, often in guest roles. She also played Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 until 1978, earning several Emmy Award nominations for her work. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January 1937. The parents of the couple were Jewish and were immigrants from Russia or Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer. Her father was a stage manager at the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and also of the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
