Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss' first taste of notoriety as a fiddler occurred in the year 1990 when she was only 19 years old when she was awarded the Grammy award for Best Bluegrass Album. It was a feat of awe, not just because Krauss was young and also due to the fact that I've Got That Old Feeling was the third album in her library. Too Late To Cry is her first album. It was released in Champaign Illinois when Krauss was sixteen years old. At 14, she signed an agreement to sign a contract with Rounder Records - one of the world's top folk music labels. Her accomplishments even at such a young age, and as well as her virtuosity, were consistently recognized by the fact that she has been a loyal supporter of bluegrass, one of America's oldest and least well-known musical genres. Krauss is now an adult, having grown from a young teen star to a seasoned artist and producer.
